Single Stream Recyclers operates a single-stream material recovery facility (MRF) in Sarasota, Florida. In our facility we sort recyclable materials that are collected through residential and commercial recycling programs. Once the material has been sorted, we bale the separated commodities and prepare to ship the them to end-market buyers that will use the material to make new products. We have the capability to process up to 50 tons per hour of recyclable material.  In August of 2020, Balcones Resources, an Austin-based environmental services company, acquired SSR, to continue to grow its footprint of best-in-calls recycling facilities in the South. Through this partnership, both SSR and Balcones will be able to focus on updating, optimizing, and reinvigorating recycling infrastructure in the United States to keep valuable materials in manufacturing supply chains.
